Derek, Laura, and Mackendree.

We had the pleasure of shooting this beautiful family today. Talk about photogenic. These folks did great....and that little Mackendree WOW! That's all I can say, WOW! That little girl has an amazing smile. We took in the neighborhood of around 500 pictures today and I love them all. It's going to take me longer to narrow them down than it will to edit them. I'm gonna take a page from Derek and get me a catfish dinner from Grandy's before I sit down to do that job. Anyway, Derek is heading to Iraq soon and we wish him the best of luck. Our thoughts are with you and thanks for what you're doing. Here are some sample shots of the family. Enjoy!

Daughters

Cathy, Taryn, and Carissa came to the studio today for their session. Cathy wanted to get some shots of her daughters together. It took me a while to get set up and going (hey, even photographers can stay out all night and party too...don't judge), but once we got going we knocked out some really great frames. As you can see, Cathy has two very beautiful daughters and getting good stuff for them was a breeze. Thanks for coming over girls. I hope you guys had fun. I know we did. Here are a few samples of what we got today.

Some time off and some Christmas presents

We took some much needed time off over the last couple of weeks, but we still managed to fit some customers in. I'm not going to post any of them quite yet though. All of the sessions were done as gifts so to keep from ruining the surprise, I'll refrain from posting just yet (you'd be surprised to see how many people look at this blog, I know I am).

Jessica's Senior Pictures

Jessica came over to the illustrious studio this afternoon for her senior photo session. She came packin' lots of clothes and a couple of aunts. Well, we got her changed and put the "aunts" to work holding reflectors, running for forgotten clothes, and I even tried to get them to clean the house a little. Yeah the last one didn't work (I'm good but not that good.) Anyway Jessica was a blast to shoot and thank goodness she was a good sport. We got some really outside stuff in the freezing, raining weather we had today. Thanks again Jessica, Joe, and Brenda hope you all had as much fun as we did. Check below for a taste of the images from today.

The Cannon Family

Sunday night we had the pleasure of shooting the Cannon Family. Greg wait Grant (sorry Grant I just had to do that one more time to get it out of my system) and Kim have a lovely family. The session flew by everyone seemed to be having a good time. Even when I would ask for a pose that felt a little strange they were up to the task. Thanks for being such good sports guys. Here are some pictures from the evening. We hope you had a good time and enjoy the preview.....

My cousin and her family

My cousin, Missy, and her family the Seviers came over to have some family shots taken along with some of her daughter Katie. We had fun as usual and captures some great images in the process...here are just a few.

Houston we have a problem

I have been having issues with my blog the last few days. The problem had to do with clicking on posted images. When you click on an image it is supposed to open in your browser and show the full image. Lately, you would get a dialog box asking if you wanted to save or open the file. My blog service is working on the issue but in the meantime I have implemented a short term fix and it is working now. So click away oh clicky ones and rest assured all is back to normal.

Getting Caught up w/Dewayne and Hanah

Dewayne brought his daughter Hanah over last weekend for a session and boy did that little doll have fun. The images speak for themselves. This little girl was full of energy, loved being with her daddy and didn't seem to even notice the camera. She just did her thing. Here is a sample of what we captured.

Taylor's Senior Photo Session

Taylor and his mom, Sandy, came over to our studio this afternoon for Taylor's senior picture shoot. We had a great time, Taylors a really great and easy going kid. It took a little effort, and some really cold weather to get him to loosen up but eventually he got comfortable with the idea of having his picture taken. Once that happened we captured some really great shots of Taylor at his best. Thanks to Sandy for her "help" getting Taylor to loosen up.......Taylor I think the feather duster would have been easier on you, bud. Anyway, thanks guys for coming to us for these special pictures...We had a blast. Here's a sample of what were working on.
