Hello and thanks for dropping by. This is the blog of Dan and Adrienne Rowe owners of Rowe Portrait Studios in Oakland City, IN. We use this blog as a place to put our day to day ramblings, small session previews and anything else we can think of. Stop by often as we update it usually several times per week. We also list information regarding promotions and discounts offered by our studio. If you haven't already, check out our main site at roweportraitstudios.com
We had the pleasure of photographing the O'neal family Friday evening. This is one fun group. These boys had a genuinely fun time as we ran them "through the paces." We had a few stops around town and ended the evening with some shots in the studio. Angie an Aaron thanks for coming by, we had fun and certainly hope you did as well. Check out some of our favorites from the session.
The end to our busy weekend of shoots came on of all days Monday with a visit from the McCandless Family. These guys know how to have fun and from the second they stepped into the studio it was all about having fun. We did some studios shots and ended the day out at my Mom and Dad's place. I think the best part of the day was the messing up of "Mom's" hair. Thanks guys for sharing your evening with us we love the images from the session and I'm sure you will as well. Peace out!
Courtney, my cousin Missy's step daughter, was over Sunday for her session. We had a fun time though I think she was getting a bit tired of me making her change over and over again, sorry kido that's how we roll. Anyway we took a boat load at her house and the area around there. There is some really great light out there at that time of the day. I loved the session and I hope Court did as well. Thanks again Courtney here's some from your session.
Mallory came by again for another session with us. She just keeps getting cuter. Her session had it all, pee, poo, eating, laughing and crying. What more can a photographer ask for right? I love shooting this little one and can't wait until her next session. Sorry Audrey, that thing I said about only giving you a few proofs, you know to make it easier for you to choose....I lied there are a ton of great shots from the session. Here are a few of my favorites. I hope you all enjoy.
Well we tried to take Daisey's shots a few days before and it didn't work out like we had all planned. Lesson learned (don't wake up a 3 year old from her nap at 3pm unless you want 1 furious 3 year old. No biggie though we just rescheduled and got here in the morning on Saturday. The images from the session are looking great and as you can tell from the blog previews she is one cute little girl.
Hey guess what? We took some pictures over the weekend. I know shocking....
Rebecca and Abby came out Saturday and we did our "thang." We had fun with these girls. We went on a nature hike (thankfully absent of any frogs), we got to use the popup dressing room (the coolest thing I own) and we took a road trip. These two sisters were a blast and Rebecca's senior session went down in the books as one of our funnest ones yet. I know she'll love the results and we loved the time we had. Thanks girls for spending the afternoon with us.
Expect to see more of this little beauty over the coming year. Grace's Mom and Grandmother chose to sign up for our 3,6,9 and 12 mos. baby plan. More on that later. This little angel was all smiles Saturday morning during her session. Adrienne had spoken to me about her little puff of hair and I was glad to see she wasn't exaggerating...such a little cutie. Here are a few from her session.
