The Sergesketter family asked us to come out to their house today for a few pictures. The weather was beautiful. Well, I thought it was anyway. Everyone else was complaining about the cold...until the dogs were brought out. Seems like keeping the dogs in line was enough of a workout to knock out the cold. :) We had a fun time with Kevin, Cheryl and their girls. The pictures turned out great. Here a some from today.

Today I had a revalation.
Little background here. I left early from college (engineering) to take a sales job. I made good money. I worked that job for some time, first on the retail side of the business then moving onto commercial accounts. I did quite well selling. I had "it" they said (the gift of gab, the ability to B.S., or whatever you want to call it). During that time I discovered that I really didn't like people that much. In the business I was in I didn't see people at their best, at least not often enough anyway. I left sales to get back on the engineering side of things and I found a job that I still very much love. Fast forward to today....This summer my wife and I decided to open this little photography business and I've discovered something yet again. I actually do like people. I'm taking a break from editing a senior shoot to write this and there has been a smile on my face since I sat down at this computer. The effect looking at smiling faces over and over again has on me is astounding. This really makes me happy. The same is true when I'm shooting. Looking through that camera and seeing all of those smiling faces is awesome. Makes me smile Thanks for listening, take this for what you will.

Not much time left for outdoor sessions!!!!
Well, if you want pretty colors on the trees anyway. As we were shooting today I notice that the trees were looking pretty dry and the colors where coming quick. Fall outdoor sessions need to be scheduled VERY soon. Because of our limited availability you need to call Adrienne pretty soon if you want this type of session with those great colors.
Busy day Part II: Next up the Buck Family.
We got off to a slow start on this one (Adrienne and I were worn out when we got there), but we got our second wind not long after we started shooting. Best thing about today, I didn't break anything moving strobes around in the Buck's living room...shewwww""""". Worst thing about today, I couldn't talk them into climbing in the bus for some pictures. Oh well, there's always next time ;-) Until then here are some of what we captured. Thanks for letting us photograph your beautiful family.
Busy day Part I: Starting with the Doerner family.
The whole gang came out to see us today. Chris's kids were a riot, they just wanted to go go go. Well, except for Spencer. That little guy loved having his picture taken. We had a lot of fun taking these today. I hope the Doerner family had some fun too. Here are some samples from today's shoot.

Yay Nicole!
We shot Nicole's Senior pictures today and had such a good time. Nicole was so easy to pose. It was like I would think it and she would do exactly what I was thinking. Nicole's sister, Monica, is a friend of ours. She works with Adrienne at the Ultimate Look. She was here for a while and I put her to work holding reflectors for us....Thanks Mon. Anyway here are 3 of my faves from the day. We got way more than this though. Nicole will not have an easy job picking her order out. Thanks Nicole....

We've got some family portraits and some senior stuff still to come. We've got what we believe are some pretty cool ideas. I can't wait to show them off. Until then......C Ya!

Ryan's family
We've had a lot going on lately. Adrienne was in Cincy, I was in Chicago...Yada, Yada, Yada. Anyway I've started editing the shots from last week. Here is Nolan, Ryan, and Lindsey. The pictures are great and we had a blast taking them. They were shot at Ryan's mom and dad's home. They have a beautiful place with tons of great places for pictures. Enjoy!
