Well as I'm sitting here in my hotel room finishing my editing from today. I'm looking out my window and seeing the fireworks in South Philly from the World Series Celebration. A pretty cool way to top off a pretty cool day. It was cold as "insert inappropriate comment of your choice here" today but we went to the old State Penitentiary downtown for our session. The models were very gutsy and never complained at all in the very cold and windy conditions. I was dressed pretty warmly and my butt was freakin' freezing. None the less I was again surrounded by some amazing photogs and I enjoyed getting to see how they work. I again tried shooting in ways that I don't normally subscribe to and I'm loving the extra tools I'm gaining by doing so. Here are few images I managed to capture from the day.

So I'm in New Jersey....
I'm attending an amazing workshop with some really phenomenal photographers in New Jersey this week. So far it has been really cool. The people I've met have just been fantastic and while the weather has left much to be desired so far, I've been able to still capture some really cool images that are a bit of a departure from what I normally would go after. Here are some random shots from today....

Zack's Senior Session
Zack, who is no stranger to our studio, visited yesterday for his senior session. We had a blast, he's a really a fun kid with a great attitude. We all went out to Pike State Forest for the latter part of his session. The fall colors were amazing and I'm glad we were able to shoot him in that environment. He lucked out and didn't get his pic taken with me and Adrienne at the end of his session so We'll have to track him down later to grab that one. Thanks Zack. Enjoy!
The Schafer Kids.
We had the Schafer children over yesterday for a short little session. Little Dagen gave us a run for our money. Who would have thought that an 18mo. old little boy wouldn't want to sit still???? RRRRight..... Anyway, we were able to capture these children in shots that would make any parent proud. These are 3 fantastic kids and it was a pleasure having them over for the session. Thanks guys, we hope you enjoy.
BTW. Dagen was one of the first little ones we ever shot. You can see one of my favorite pictures from his session here. When I saw this shot I knew exactly how i wanted to edit it.

Emily is a Homecoming Queen.
You guys remember Emily right? She was here in August for her senior session and she called us after she won the top honors in the Princeton High School fall Homecoming court. We, of course, got the normal head shots but I wanted to experiment a little. Emily is a fun girl so she was up to the task. I love the images we grabbed and I think she will as well. Thanks Emily. Until next time....Enjoy.
Makaylee's Senior Session
Makaylee and a whole bunch of her family members came over Sunday for her senior session. We had a lot of fun shooting her. She's a super sweet girl with a great attitude (that make our job really easy). We ran her through the paces at our place then headed our to her family's "compound." LOL just joking guys. Anyway as you can see we captured some really beautiful images of a beautiful young woman. Thanks Makaylee for choosing us.

Whitney's Senior Session part I...
Whitney came over Saturday for the first part of her senior session. We had originally planned just a couple of shots but instead got quite a few. Her lifelong friend, Taryn, was in town so we grabbed a few with the both of them together as well. Whitney will be back for the remainder of her session soon until then enjoy the images below, I know we sure had fun capturing them. Thanks Whit and Taryn.

Tessa.....that's all I have to say...Just Tessa.
Normally I have a lot to write. Not here. Look at this little girl. The images speak for themselves.
Brittany's senior session was today....
So she and Seth stopped by for a few hours. She had her senior pictures taken else where and saw what we were doing here...of course she wanted a piece of the action here so we headed outside and did what we do. I really love how the images from her session are turning out. She's a beautiful, fun young lady and we had a blast taking her images. Thanks guys for coming over. Here are a few for you to enjoy.
