Nathan and Mindy got hitched.

Before the great winds of '08, was the great wedding of '08 for Nathan and Mindy. We had the honor of being there to capture the great moments as they unfolded. I've been a little slow at getting to this post so I've put a few more pics up for you all to look at. We had a great time at the wedding and I know the guests did as well. Nathan and Mindy sure know how to throw a party and not just for the adults. I'd like to go on record now and say that of all the weddings I've been a part of through DJ'ing, photography etc., I've never seen as many little ones shakin' their booties like there were at this reception. There must have been 20 or so under 5 years old just having a blast. Good times. Anyway without further delay....here's Mr. and Mrs. Nate Dog.

And we're back!

Lions, tigers, power outages and zapped computers oh my! Well almost 48 hours after the wind we now have power again. Unfortunately, the main editing station I use didn't fair so well. After my panic attack and contemplating a move to Mac, I have regained my senses and repaired the problem. 3 gigs of bad ram! 3 different sticks all with 3 different problems. Kids it goes to show you that persistence in trouble shooting and keeping the problems simple will almost always get you back in business. BTW. I'd like to take this chance to share that at no time were the images in danger of being lost. I have every session backed up in triplicate with 1 copy of every session stored in a secure off site location guarded by my team of trained attack pigeons. Seriously though I do keep a copy off site in case something catastrophic happened here. I hope to have my pc back to "full power" later tonight and begin editing to get us back on schedule. As of right now I am about 1 week behind the 4 weeks I quote after our sessions. I usually get most of my editing done Sunday night and Monday night so the 2 days without power really did put me a week behind. I'm sorry for any trouble this might cause and if you have any issues with this give us.....ahem, I mean Adrienne a call.

Jordan and his senior picture session

The last session of the weekend was with Jordan and his mom. We shot this guy all over the place here at the studio, in the middle of the street, and at his Grandma and Grandpa's place. We joked around as usual and ended up having a great time with the shoot. Thanks Jordan and best of luck in your senior year. Below are a few from the session.

Isabella...More cake!

Our second session today was Isabella's 1 year session. Your seen this little one before here. She wasn't too sure about the cake and it was reaction to it was priceless. Thanks little one for coming over and sharing some cake with us. Enjoy the preview from the session.

Emily got to eat some cake!

We started our day off today with some birthday cake. Emily turned 1 and we had to celebrate picture style. This little cutie was all smiles this morning and the pictures provide the proof. Enjoy the preview shots below.

Stephanie's a senior!

Saturday afternoon brought Stephanie in front of our lens. This beautiful young lady was an absolute blast to photograph. Adrienne and I had a great time. With eyes like those there wasn't much work involved behind the camera, we just put it in cruise control and enjoyed the ride. Thanks a lot Stephanie, it was really fun.

Aubrey came over today.

We got to play with little Aubrey today. Her Mom and Grandmother brought her over for a few shots this morning. This little one was a bit shy, not unlike most her age so we had do "distract" her once in a while. Well after we got going she did "what she does" and we captured some beautiful images of this beautiful little girl. Lindsey, Aubrey and Mitsy, thanks for coming over we know you'll love the images. I thought I'd share with you an old video I watch any time I need a good laugh. It might not be the funniest video ever made but it's totally my type of humor. I'm thinking of using this some how in our senior sessions next year.

Evan's 18 month session

Evan came over today for a quick little session. We shot just a few in the studio and also some outside. You have to love them at that age because everything is such a huge deal with them. That little secret I spoke of last week was behind the camera again for this whole session and I'll soon be ready to formally introduce her to you.
