A little update.

Even though we haven't posted a portrait session in a while, don't make the mistake of thinking we haven't been busy. We have been working our tails off around here getting orders placed for the softball team pictures took a lot of time. We shot an all day softball event and will be posting the action shots up on the site for purchase. We have a wedding coming up this Saturday and we have started to fill up our schedule of available senior sessions. Oh and I (Dan) have also been able to sleep a couple of hours too :( Anyway, I don't like making you all ready my ramblings without at least giving you some eye candy so, with out further delay, check out one of the magazine covers we did.

Dance Recital Weekend

Big event for the Rowe family this weekend. The annual dance recital for the girls occurred and it had all the typical elements. Little one that didn't want to wear her costume and the big one with a really runny nose. In the end the recital was nothing short of spectacular with little Briley and her on stage antics stealing the show. The stage was brighter than normal and the lights spilled into the first two rows were we were. This resulted in a yell of "there's Mimi" 30 seconds into her routine. The dance at that point was over and Briley's routine was improvised into very animated waving and her Mimi. Absolutely hilarious. I'll post pictures as I edit them keep checking below.

Picture day at the softball field!!!

We started taking the team pictures for the Oakland City Girls Softball League today. Here are a couple that I promised I'd put on the blog. They are from the....wait for it.....AWESOME "ROWE PORTRAIT STUDIOS" U14 team. We had fun working for these girls they definitely live up to the Rowe Portrait Studios reputation with their fun loving attitudes. These won't make the cut so here on the blog is the only place you'll see them. Thanks girls for making the session fun, we had a blast. We still have several teams to go so if we haven't seen you and your team yet...get ready cause we're coming soon!

Wow it's been a while.

We've been busy with lots of different stuff lately and blocked off quite a bit of time away from the studio. We just got back from our family trip to Disney. We stayed at a great place just off of the Disney property and I recommend it to everyone. We had 2 huge units,I think around 1500 sq. feet of space just for the 4 of us. The girls had a total blast (they love them some princesses) and it was nice for Adrienne and I to get away as well. Any way we're back now and getting right back into the swing of things. Softball team pictures start tomorrow and we'll be busy with that as well as some upcoming studio sessions. Young men and women from the class of 2009 are starting to schedule sessions as well. I'm really excited about this year because we have some really kick ass ideas for our seniors this year. So stay tuned and I promise you'll enjoy the show..........

Adrienne's invading Dan's Blog!!!

Hi this is Adrienne. When Dan and I decided to open a photography business at first I just sat back and let him go. Now its my turn! Dan is still helping me out with lighting issues but I have the camera!! HA HA WATCH OUT DAN!!!! Of course Dan is still shooting but now we are a team!!!!

Christie came over on Sunday with her boyfriend and his sweet little girl kyra. Kyra was pretty easy to shoot and with that gorgeous smile how could anyone go wrong. I appreciate you guys having a lot of patience with me. I think you guys will love these shots!

Ava came over today.

Ava came over today and from what you can see, this little girl needs no help looking cute. Ava's mom and dad are good friends of mine so we've been wanting to do a session with Ava for a while now. Check below to see what we captured....

Little Trisha is back again

This is the second time we've taken pics of little Trisha
This little girl has some absolutely gorgeous eyes. They really set off a picture. We has a little mini session with here a couple of weekends ago so I'm late getting here stuff to the blog. Not only did we just do pictures of Trisha but we also added a member to the Boxell family portrait.

The Luker Family

An old friend of mine Sara brought in her down right awesome family for some pictures on Sunday. Josh, Isabella and Kern all together made for some fantastic photos. They all did so well. We went over to the lake and got some stuff of them outside and of course spent some of the time inside. The kids did fantastic and Isabella had no problems letting us know when enough was enough. I usually try to knock the pictures down to 30 or 40 before I start editing them and right now the Lukers are at 85...I have some picking to do. At any rate Sara is one of those people who has "one of those" smiles that just makes a picture add to that a beautiful family and below is what you get. Thanks again for coming out guys and let me know if I spelled any names wrong (I usually do).

Mallory is now 3 months old.

Our friends Chad and Audrey brought over Mallory again. This time it was for her 3 month shoot. Seems like only 3 months ago she was just a bump in Audrey's belly. Hugh, what? :-/ This beautiful little girl was a blast to shoot,not much fussy and a lot of cuddly. We got some good stuff and because Chad and Audrey are friends of ours the get to be guinea pigs (sorry it took so long to set up from time to time guys). I think the results are worth their sacrifice though :) Check some of them out below....

Brooklynn's Rock Star Photo Session.

Our buddy Bookelynn came over today to get some pictures taken for her Mom and Grandmother. We had a blast with this little girl. She's a bit shy but once she gets comfortable it was all fair game (well except for jumping in the air and other weird things the bald guy behind the camera asked her to do). Any way Adrienne and I are really happy with how these turned out an we think Mom and Grandma will love them too. BTW, Brookelynn, you owe me a million bucks. I did get that silver stuff to turn pink :) Here are some of the shots we all captured this afternoon.
