Chelsea's Senior Session

Ok let me start by saying..We had a freakin' blast yesterday shooting this young lady. Chelsea, her mom and Chelsea's cousin, Emily, all came over and we ran a little marathon 6 hour session. This session had it all! We got the cops called on us (that's getting to be a habit), got jabbed in the but with some bark, got wet, and I'm pretty sure broke a few minor laws though I'm pleading the fifth on that one. All in all I'm not kidding at all when I say we had fun. Emily come see us when you get to be a senior. Mom thanks for your help, we can always use a good reflector holder. Chelsea, best of luck kiddo we'll be in touch.

Some for grandma and some for moms

Lisa called Adrienne the other day and said she was in town for a short period of time (in from New Jersey) and wanted to get some shots with her kids in the wheat fields. Well the rush was on before Lisa's Dad and her brother cleaned out all of the fields around these here parts ;) Anyway we got them squezzed in in just the nick of time. While we had everyone in town we got a couple with all the kids together for Grandma. Lisa and gang, thanks a bunch and if you decide you want some urban family shots let us know...we'll be glad to make the trip out east :)

Taylor's Senior Session Pt. 1

These are from Taylors first session on Saturday. Taylor is Mike and Monica's son and you've seen him on here before with his family at their beautiful home. We shoot out there from time to time and plan to much more in the future. Taylor was a bit slow at getting into this session but once we got going he loosened up and we started to see the real Taylor. We will be doing another session with him soon and we've got some great ideas for that one. Thanks guys for letting us do these pictures and we're looking forward to the next session.

The Faulk Family

Here's some from the quick little session we had with the Faulk family today. These guys rounded out the trifecta that we ran today and they were not disappointment. Talk about a cute family...These kids flat came ready to get their pictures taken. We had fun working in the studio and out at the neighbors barn getting them some great pictures. We went through the session so quickly, that I kept felling like we were for getting something. Hopefully I can convince them to come back in the future (I'm already thinking of some stuff I want to try with them). At any rate here are 4 of my faves from the day.

Enjoy and thanks Faulk Family, we had fun.

The Twins are back.

Bailey and Houston are 1 year old now. It's hard to believe Brian has been a dad for over a year now. From the looks of these two Brian and Shannon aren't doing too bad of a job either. These two are a blast to shoot especially now that they are fully mobile. You have to catch them quick cause if you don't they are gone!!!!! As is customary here, when the babies turn 1 year old we fill them up with cake (a.k.a. Baby crack) and send them home. No one is sleeping well in that house tonight.

Hallie's Visit.

Hallie came over today for her session and amazingly we showed up too. We took her to Mike and Monica's house (remember them). We had lots of fun, saw a snake, lots of gnats, some dragonflies and got some great shots too. The sun was too bright for those pretty blue eyes so we stayed mostly in the barn...grabbed Dad for a couple of kiss'n shots too. I'm loving what I'm seeing from this shoot and I'm sure you all will too. Thanks again Mike and Monica for letting us raid your place and thanks Hallie for coming over. As always here's a small sample of what we took today.

Maddy.

Erin and Maddy came over today to take some shots in the early evening. We had hoped to get lots of stuff in the wheat fields but the weather came rolling in and an I'm pretty sure Maddy was not wanting to stand in the field any way. Erin is married to my good friend Jeremy and we have been trying to squeeze Maddy in for quite a while now. At any rate we get to scratch her off the list and give her some great stuff to look at the same time.

And we're done!

Ryan and Lindsey do that knot tying thing.....

Pop quiz hot shot! Take 12 hours of nearly continuous shooting, 20 AA batteries, 1 previously fine now non functioning left toe, 4000+ pictures, nearly 20 gigabytes of digital files, a wild, wild, wild party bus ride and a "punch" to the face with a cake filled right jab and what do you get? ....... Stumped? You get one hell of a set of pictures that's what. Ryan and Lindsey...ehmmm...Mr. and Mrs. Sandefur made it official and we had the pleasure of capturing the whole experience for them. Adrienne and I were completely and I mean completely wiped after this event but man was it a BLAST! Ryan and Lindsey are gonna love these when we're finished but until then they (and you all) can enjoy the little sampling below. Thanks again, Ryan and Lindsey, we were honored to have been a part of it all.
