Ray and Jennifer

We got to shoot Ray and Jennifer's engagement session today. They were in for a few days from Jacksonville while they visited with family and took care of some wedding plans. It was super hot and muggy but these two were troopers and stuck with us until the end. Thanks guys for braving the heat with us. We know you'll love your pictures. Here is a preview from the session.

Little Miss Labor Day Pageant.

As a husband you have to pick your battles, ya know? When Adrienne said she wanted to put Bree in the Labor Day pageant, I was completely against it but in the end I gave up and decided to end my protest. Well I'm glad I did because, although Bree didn't win anything she had a blast. Thanks to the organizers of the Pageant for making it fun for the girls and congratulations to the 3 deserving winners. Here are some shots from the day including one from a face you might recognize from the studio from a few months back.

Daxyn is kinda new around here....

We were able to shoot a newborn session tonight. Amanda and Matt brought over their new little baby boy, Daxyn. Like most newborns getting their picture taken, Daxyn wasn't very happy about it. Luckily for us.....he couldn't really go anywhere. We got to try out some images we've wanted to do for a while now and we're really pleased with the results. My family loves football and Daxyn comes from a family that feels the same way about he old pigskin. So naturally the football ideas just fit perfectly for this session. I really love how the images turned out and I know you all will too. Thanks guys for letting us capture these moments from the start of Daxyn's life. Check below for a preview of the session.

BTW.
Psst. Come here. Wanna know a secret? I didn't shoot any of these shots and neither did Adrienne. We've got someone special that will be behind the camera from time to time helping us out. I'm super excited but I'm not really ready to fill in all of the details quite yet. Stay tuned in the coming months for a much more official announcement.

Randy's Senior Session

Randy came over today and had no idea what to expect. I think he thought we'd run him thru and click, click like the school photographer. Well as most of you know that's just not how we do it here. We loosened this guy up and made him feel comfortable in front of our lens and, low and behold, we got some really cool pictures. Randy we had a blast out at your place "wasps" and all. Thanks for choosing us and we hope you had as much fun as we did. Here are a few from his session. Thanks again.

The Ayers and Bartley Families

The Ayres and Bartley families got together today for a short little session. We got some stuff from the various groups and also some fun stuff at the end of the day. The families live near each other and have some really beautiful land at their homes. Great scenery for photos so not much work was required on our part. We had a good time as usual and hopefully family picture day on the Bartley "Estate" wasn't too painful. Thanks guys for having us out. Here are a few to look at.

Lacy's Senior Session

We finished off yesterday with a fun young lady, Lacy. She was a little shy at first. Like most that come to our studio, she didn't quite know what to expect. Once she realized Adrienne and I are here to have a good time, she loosened up and we snapped some awesome images. She even braved the mosquitoes and threw on her prom dress for a few at the end of the session. Lacy we had a blast and we hope you did as well here are a few of our favorites to look over until we get the entire session finished.

PS. Hope the bites aren't too itchy.

Ryan & Kayci

We had the honor of photographing Ryan and his wife Kayci yesterday. We had a lot of fun hanging out with these two for a few hours. It was really hot but the images are totally worth it. Thanks guys for driving up to see us we'll have to hang out again. It was comforting for me to see another guy getting the same eye rolls I see from my wife. I know I'm not the only one like me out there :). Here are a few images from the session. Enjoy.

We're Models!!!

Well not really but hey we got to act like it for a bit anyway. Check our the pics and video on John Michael Cooper's blog (click to visit). Like I've already said, we had a blast and learned a lot of really cool stuff we are already starting to use here. Thanks to John and Dalisa for such a great workshop. We look forward to seeing you guys again soon.

On a side note I was checking on some stats from the website tonight. I found it really cool that since Jan. 1 of this year we have been visited from people in 61 countries around the world and people have looked at our site from all but 4 states in the US. I never really figured that we would have such a response in our first year of business. We've got lots planned for the rest of 08 and into 09 so stay tuned......

We reached a milestone.

We recently published our 100th blog entry but instead of celebrating number 100. I thought I'd like to celebrate the number 102. So with that said, I'm now going to stop what I'm doing right now and dance the happy dance in honor of post 102!!!!! Oh and case anyone is keeping track we also recently celebrated our 1st year in business. Thanks to all of our customers for such a fantastic year number 1.

Katie's A Senior!

Taking photos of Katie and her sisters during her senior session today was a great time. Like a lot of girls that come to our place, Katie wasn't quite sure what to expect. That quickly changed after we got started. We all had a great time with the session. We goofed around so much, to tell you the truth, I'm not really sure how we got anything done at all. Katie you were a blast to work with today and we wish you all the best in your senior year and beyond. Check below for some of the proof we actually did some work today.
